Gerald and Kathleen plan to meet this flight, walk with you to the local bus to Piazzalle Roma where we will board a vaporetto/boat to our hotel.
Our introductory walk wanders through connecting squares to Venice's grand square, the Piazza San Marco. There you will find the Basilica San Marco, Doge's Palace, Campanile, Clock Tower and historically elegant coffee houses. We will continue through the narrow lanes of the Mercerie shopping area to the Rialto Bridge and enjoy a vaporetto ride back on the Grand Canal
